The hooded Landgate is chic yet workaday and features a drawstring waist and side and front pocket options. Our first pattern for both men and women.

All decorative top stitching is optional. For the men's pattern you lengthen the pattern where indicated.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

Suitable fabrics:

Cotton canvas, drill, denim, oilskin, linen and soft wool.

You will also need:

• Matching thread
• Webbing or drawstring cord 1 - 3m (2.25 - 3.25yd) of 15 - 25mm (½" - 1")
• Metal eyelets - approx 7mm internal diameter x 2 (optional). You can make buttonholes as an alternative to eyelets
• Fusible interfacing for pockets and buttongholes/eyelets (not for oilskin)
• Lining (for side pocket bags) - 30cm (14.5yd) (optional)
• Metal zip - 16cm (6") for XM - M, 18cm (7") for L-XXL)
• Please note that this is a 'pull over your head' jacket so you will need room to manoeuvre!
