An oversized coat or jacket with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. The coat has inseam pockets and jacket has patch pockets. Choose to make either lined or unlined.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

Skill level: Intermediate.

*If you are a curvy size 18, we would recommend selecting the UK 18-28 size range.

Fabric suggestions:

Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twill or canvas. A heaver weight cloth with result in a more structured coat.

For linings we'd suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise - cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.

• 4 x 2cm/3/4" buttons (jacket)
• 6 x 2cm/3/4" buttons (coat)
• 0.35m/1/2y pocket bag lining (unlined coat)
• 0.2m/1/4y patch pocket lining (unlined jacket)
• 0.25m/1/4y 0.5CM/1/4" seam tape
• 1.4m/1 1/2y interfacing (coat)*
• 0.8m/1y interfacing (jacket)*
• *Interfacing not needed if using oilskin
